101 Things in 1001 Days -- The List

I ran across this website today, and I was inspired to start my own list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. This blog will be where I will keep track of my progress.

From the website:
The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

So, here is my list:

Start Date: April 4th, 2011
End Date: December 30th, 2013

  1. Get my passport
  2. This has been on my to-do list for years, but I've been too lazy to do it.
    Plan:
    1. Get a certified copy of my birth certificate
    2. Get a passport photo taken
    3. Apply

  3. Find out my blood type
  4. I've always been curious about what my blood type is.

    3. Buy

    2. Change my Facebook picture (0/10)

  21. These only come around once every 4 years, so why not?

  22. Vote in a local election
  23. These are generally less crowded than national elections, and since there are not very many people that vote in these, my vote counts for more.
